KGV at Rue Cohu is primarily a Sports Centre. Over the years it has been modified and extended to cater for broader community use. The playing fields, established in memory of King George the Fifth are held in trust for the people of Guernsey.
Stuart Falla, a relative of R O Falla, will deliver a history of how the Playing Fields came into being eighty years ago. He has spent a lifetime in matters relating to competitive sport and has been chairperson of the management committee at KGV for the last ten years.
