The forthcoming States Deputies Election will be notable because of the changes resulting from the Referendum. There will be just one district with 38 Deputies. For the 4th time the WEA is to organise a course for potential States Deputies.
Leading States members and officials will give briefings and answer questions in six sessions covering a variety of subjects that will explain every aspect of being a States member and offer tips on how to get elected!
Six Thursday evening sessions will last an hour and a half, giving plenty of time for questions. Some speakers will be imparting essential information for candidates, others will speak from long experience on the work and trials and tribulations of being a States member.
Do you want to be a States Deputy in 2020?
Starting Date: Thursday 17 October
Time: 7.30pm - 9pm
Location: Les Cotils (except 7 November, which will be in the Royal Court)
WEA reserves the right to make changes to or cancel courses without notice. Refunds will be made where appropriate.
