    For Spring 2020 Frances Lemmon is to continue the popular courses commenced the previous autumn – daytime on Mondays or evenings on Wednesdays.

    Aimed at:

    Beginners and Intermediates who would like to gain confidence to create their own artwork and those who want to gain new skills.

    Beginners will have an introduction to a range of different materials, disciplines and styles in art history.

    Intermediates will be encouraged to develop their skills and explore project based work.

    Materials and methods offered include Drawing, Painting, Printing, Collage and Mixed Media.

    Materials will be provided for the first session.

    6 Monday mornings, 9.30 am - 12.00 noon at Les Cotils, from the 3 February

    • Frances Lemmon is a noted local artist who has her work in many private and public collections.

      Drawing on her experiences of living and working as an artist in the Guernsey landscape, her recent paintings are both bold and colourful in their interpretation of C19 Guernsey folkloric stories and sayings. In 2018 she published a collection of her oil paintings alongside original Guernsey stories and poetry by Jane Fleming.
