This course will explore the main architectural periods, i.e. Greek, Roman, Gothic and Renaissance and right up to the present day, discussing building techniques and technology used throughout the centuries.
The course will be fully illustrated with examples of prominent buildings throughout the world.

C A Duquemin Ltd is one of Guernsey’s longest established building companies and has been trading since 1924. It specialises in historic and high-class refurbishment building works, although it also carries out a large number of new-build projects. With a staff of over 60 full time craftsmen and its own fully equipped joinery workshop it can carry out all kinds of building. Past projects have included St. James Concert Hall, The Little Chapel, The Royal Court, Allied Aircrew Memorial, Clos L’Ecole
and Brockhurst for the National Trust.
